What's Virtual Leonardo
Dedicated to Leonardo machines, Virtual Leonardo is
a 3-D 'digital section' of the Museum.
Not only that. Virtual Leonardo is a new way of visiting a Web site.
It's a group visit, together with friends, to a virtual museum, where
you can meet people from across the world.
In this virtual museum you can:
- Make a walking or flying tour of rooms and cloisters
- Operate a number of Leonardo machines
- See other visitors, follow their movements and chat with them
- Join a group and be shown around by a guide. 'Virtual guided tours' will be available soon.
Virtual Leonardo has been jointly created by the Milan Museum of Science and Technology and the Milan Polytechnic. The latter has devised the state-of-the-art technological infrastructure, the Webtalk system.
