Starting from September 1999 there is a new monument in Milan: a big bronze horse directly inspired by Leonardo's drawings. Builded in the United States by the "Leonardo's Horse Foundation" it has been donated to the city of Milan. In the following pages, extracted from a book of Laura Gioppo and Paola Redemagni edited by the National Museum of Science and Technology together with Anthelios Edizioni,  you will find the history of this fascinating cultural operation.
