Float
This float is used for dropping materials on the bottom of rivers beds in order to raise them and allow the passage of troops. It can be used in calm and not very deep waterways. This type of float usually transports gravel and can be built on the spot, using wicker coated in leather.
Since the boat must always follow the same root and resist the pressure of the waters, Leonardo designs a rope latched onto the boat and hooked on pegs positioned on the sides of the river.
