Temple with five domes
This model illustrates a temple built on a Greek cross plan. It is made up of two vertical lines with an irregular octagon at the centre and four identical radiating chapels. The outside of the building is divided into two parts by a continuous cornice, the lower part consisting of three pairs of mullioned windows and four doors each surmounted by a gable; the upper part, on the other hand, is made up of five drums on which are raised as many domes. The central dome organizes a hierarchical system of volume and solid yet harmonious mass for the whole buildin.
