“This is one way to make wind”

This model represents a fan. The structure supports two toothed wheels connected to a counterweight by means of an endless screw. The fan blade is connected to the smaller of the two wheels. Through the interconnection of the gears, the falling of the weight causes the blade to rotate rapidly enough to produce wind.
