Leonardo briefly draws and describes a way of walking on water by equipping a man with two, very elongated floats to be applied to the man's feet. The man would be provided with two poles for balancing himself with his arms. Teh study, not implemented in practice though probably in reference to some military function, represents the dream of moving on water as on land.
