Future Projects

The Museum has been involved in a wide-reaching reorganisation process since 2001.

Its future objectives are to:

• Create new thematic areas and renew existing areas to make them easier to use and more effective.
• Enhance spaces and services for the public, so that a visit to the Museum can be a pleasant social and entertainment experience in addition to being an exciting learning experience.
• Expand the museum's cultural reach

The Museum has undertaken work to design and produce:

• New exhibition sections and the renovation of existing thematic areas
• Interactive laboratories (i.labs)
• Temporary exhibitions
• Educational activities and events at weekends
• Restoration of items belonging to the Museum's vast patrimony
• Performing arts shows
• Conferences with scientists and forums with experts on hot topics
• Film festivals
• Reception and catering services
• Training courses for teachers
• Corporate events
• Scientific publications

Businesses, associations and individuals can help the Museum to achieve its mission and at the same time benefit the community by donating funds to develop these projects.
