Next to research and conservation, education is and always has been one of the main objectives of the Museum. The education department staff works with the aim of communicating contents and creating the conditions for the Museum to be a place for discovery, experience, understanding and inspiration, accessible to all.

The activities are designed to involve visitors in a learning processes through direct, amusing and exciting experiences. The Museum collaborates in different educational projects with schools, universities and other institutions, in order to encourage the use of the Museum as en educational resource. This helps to set ideas and devices in their historical context. The Museum also offers numerous combined tours to explore different collections, focusing on themes such as the technological evolution at the time of industrial revolution, the history of handicraft or the historical socio-cultural changes linked to the development of the means of transport.
Activities in the interactive labs
