Projects for classes

The experience of visiting the Museum is characterized by paths of visit, activities in i.labs and Theatre at the Museum.

We propose paths and activities through historic collections and in interactive laboratories (i.lab) in order to enable students to use their own knowledge and skills, to encounter objects and phenomena and to be protagonists of their own learning process.

PATHS OF VISIT IN THE SECTIONS

An explainer guides the class through an itinerary to discover one or more exhibition areas. Pupils are made able to recognize the main features of the objects on display and to formulate hypothesis on how they work.
Through observation and historical narration they understand today’s and yesterday’s technology.

ACTIVITIES IN INTERACTIVE LABS

The explainer invites the class to carry out an activity first-hand in an interactive lab (i.lab) to explore physical and chemical phenomena or productive processes. Experiments and role play activities are carried out by describing what is observed, in order to discover science and re-invent technology.

THEATRE AT THE MUSEUM

Science is on stage! Visits accompanied by characters in costume, performances and theatre shows to live first-hand the exciting and amusing story of great scientists and their scientific discoveries.

OUTSIDE THE MUSEUM

The Museum goes outside! It offers activities beyond its walls. Thanks to educational kits that contain materials and scientific tools, our explainers will go to your schools engaging kids with experimental activities on different topics.

Informal education

All our educational activities are based on an informal approach, aimed to make you the protagonist.
