Yes, for organised groups the Museum offers (by booking) many activities in the interactive laboratories, and historical collections as well as guided tours of the Enrico Toti submarine.
Alongside its collections the Museum has 11 interactive laboratories: in these areas physical or chemical phenomena, production processes and theatrical activities take place. Visitors take part in hands-on activities, guided by the leader: you can learn to make indestructible soap bubbles, build robots, try out Leonardo's inventions and much more.
Guided tours in English are only offered to organised groups with a minimum of 10 people, subject to booking.
Yes, but only on the same day as the visit, at the Museum info-point.
The weekend activities are only available in Italian.
No, these are all included in the entrance ticket, except for the guided tour of the Toti submarine.
The Museum contains a vast amount of material. It consists of more than 10,000 exhibits including real objects and models. The exhibition sections cover 23,000 m² out of a total surface area of 40,000 m² . A full visit, without time spent looking closely at details, will take at least 2-3 hours.
Only amateur photography without flash or tripod is allowed inside
the Museum.
