The manual is divided into two parts: the paper version in
English and the CD in English, Flemish, French, Italian, German,
Hungarian, Spanish. The language in which each of the documents
is available can be identified by the final letters in the
title of each file (be: Flemish, de: German, en: English,
es: Spanish, fr: French, hu: Hungarian, it: Italian).
The paper version contains three general chapters: the introduction
to the manual, a chapter on museum learning and one on the
relationship between school and museum (01_introduction_en,
02_learning in schools and museums_en, 03_practical aspects
of museum visit_en). In addition, it contains a short version
of the chapters describing the work of the SMEC museums in
collaboration with schools in each country (04_BELGIUM_printing
history and technology_en, 05_FRANCE_photography and cinema_en,
06_FRANCE_reconstruction of celtic chariot_en, 07_GERMANY_ships
energy and propulsion_en, 08_GERMANY_airplanes physics and
technology_en, 09_HUNGERY_flying in nature plants and animals_en,
10_ITALY_transport and movement transformation_en, 11_SPAIN_body
movement_en).
The CD contains 8 folders. Folder 01_paper version_en contains
the electronic version of all documents included in the manual
in hard copy. Folder 02_general chapters_all languages contains
the translation of the three general chapters (01_introduction_en,
02_learning in schools and museums_en, 03_practical aspects
of museum visit_en) in seven languages (be: Flemish, de: German,
en: English, es: Spanish, fr: French, hu: Hungarian, it: Italian).
Folders 03_belgium, 04_france, 05_germany, 06_hungary, 07_italy,
08_spain contain the projects developed by each institution
with the schools in each country, and the materials used to
develop the activities (working sheets, games, interviews,
etc.).
